Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank has congratulated Md Jashim Uddin, Chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank and President of FBCCI, on behalf of the Bank for being the President of Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the apex trade body of the south Asian region. Amongst other members of the Board, Deputy Managing Directors and Company Secretary were also present during the felicitation.
Jashim Uddin will take over the presidency of SCCI on 25th May 2023 for the period of 2023-24 from Iftikhar Ali Malik, a Pakistani business leader.
Earlier, Jashim Uddin served as the president of Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufactures & Exporters Association. He is also the Vice-Chairman of Bengal Group of Industries and RTV.
Jashim Uddin is a prominent leader in the business community of Bangladesh is also contributing in the economic growth and economic policy advocacy of the country with his prudency.
