Bengal Commercial Bank starts ‘Entrepreneurship Development Program’ with Bangladesh Bank in Bogura

Bengal Commercial Bank has inaugurated a month-long training program with Bangladesh Bank to enhance the skills and business strength of the entrepreneurs in the Micro, Cottage, Small and Medium Enterprises (CMSME). This “Entrepreneurship Development Program” has been organized in Bogura focusing on young entrepreneurs in the region. The Bank has started this training program as part of the ‘Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP)’, project of the Ministry of Finance, supervised by Bangladesh Bank and financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Mr. Sardar Al Imran, Director (Admin) of Bangladesh Bank’s Bogura Office inaugurated the training program at GUK Tower, Banani, Bogura on Moday, 15 June 2026. Mr. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director of the Bank presided over the ceremony. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, Founder Executive Director of Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha (TMSS); Mr. Md. Ayub Ali, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank and Dr. Md. Abdul Majid Pramanik, Director General (In-charge) of RDA, Bogura, attended the program as the special guest while officials from Bengal Commercial Bank were also present. The trainees will gain knowledge and skills in business planning, marketing, financing etc. Around the training, different sessions will be conducted by the skilled and experienced trainers from Bangladesh Bank and Bengal Commercial Bank. This program will help to create entrepreneurs and grow existing businesses to a larger scale as well as contribute to the whole economic growth of the country.
