Bengal Commercial Bank has engaged RSA Advisory Limited as its advisory firm with the objective of ensuring long-term financial growth through the sustainable development of the CMSME of the Bank. In this regard, an agreement has been signed between the two organizations on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Mr. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director & CEO of Bengal Commercial Bank and Mr. K Mahmood Sattar, Chairman of RSA Advisory Limited and former MD & CEO of City Bank and Eastern Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. Selim RF Hossain, Senior Consultant of RSA Advisory Limited and former MD of Brac Bank, was present at the event. Mr. K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director & CBO; Dr. Md Rafiqul Islam, DMD & CTO and Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, DMD & Company Secretary of the Bank also attended the ceremony along with High Officials from both organizations.

Since its inception, Bengal Commercial Bank has been playing a unique role in creating new entrepreneurs through financing small and medium enterprises. Meanwhile, the Bank continues to enhance lives by expanding banking access to the unbanked people. Under this agreement, RSA Advisory Limited will act as a strategic partner in the Bank’s overall transformation with a special focus on the micro and SME sectors. As a result, more timely and inclusive banking services for CMSME entrepreneurs will be ensured while the Bank’s overall operational efficiency and institutional capacity are also expected to be enhanced.
