Bengal Commercial Bank has started banking operations in Barishal with reliable and modern banking services. The bank's 33rd Branch has been inaugurated at Fatima Center in the Bibi Pukur Par area of ​​the city.

Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Bank and president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), inaugurated the Branch on 30 October 2025, Thursday. Mr. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank presided over the inaugural ceremony while Mr. Ebaydul Haque Chand, President of Barishal Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Mohammad Nizam Uddin, President of Barishal Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Local Prominent Businessmen; Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, Deputy Managing Director & Company Secretary of the Bank; other High Officials, clients and local elites were also present.
