Bengal Commercial Bank PLC. signed participation agreements with Bangladesh Bank under the “Financial Sector Fund for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (FSFDMSME)” and the “Cluster Financing Scheme” on 18 May 2026 at the Head Office of Bangladesh Bank, Dhaka. Under this agreement cottage, micro, small & medium entrepreneurs and different clusters will be able to avail financing facilities at an interest rate of up to 7% on easy terms. Mr. Tarik Morshed, Managing Director of Bengal Commercial Bank and Mr. Nawshad Mustafa, Director of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank signed the agreement of behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. K. M Awlad Hossain, AMD & CBO of Bengal Commercial Bank was present at the ceremony. The signing ceremony was presided over by Ms. Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
