Bengal Commercial Bank has started its banking operations in Baligaon, Munshiganj with reliable and modern banking services. The Bank inaugurated its 36th branch at Azizul Haque Bepari Super Market in Baligaon Union under Tongibari Upazila.

Mr. Md. Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, Director of the Bank and Member of the Executive Committee, inaugurated the Branch on Thursday, 21 May 2026. He expressed the Bank’s commitment to strengthening the country’s SME sector and overall economy by fostering a supportive environment for small investors and entrepreneurs.

Mr. K. M. Awlad Hossain, Additional Managing Director and CBO of the Bank presided over the inaugural ceremony. He stated that Bengal Commercial Bank is committed to delivering modern financial services to the unbanked people, strengthening the rural economy and making remittance channels easier and more secure.

Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, FCS, DMD and Company Secretary of the Bank was also present on the occasion along with other senior officials, valued customers, well-wishers, local dignitaries and prominent business personalities. It is noteworthy that Bengal Commercial Bank is continuing its branch and sub-branch expansion across the country.
